Please read and understand the following Terms & Conditions:
1. Program Deposit: Please note that the program deposit is non-refundable. It is used to purchase the ticket entrance to Machu Picchu, as well as for booking the train tickets and hotels. Once a space is purchased, it cannot be resold.
2. Cancellation Policy: “Sunrise Peru Trek” will not provide any refunds if a participant decides to cancel the trip prior to departure or during the trip.
3. Reservation Confirmation: If “Sunrise Peru Trek” fails to confirm the reservation, your payment will be fully refunded.
4. Personal Backpacks: All participants are required to carry their own backpacks, including sleeping bags and mattresses, unless they have booked an extra porter or the service includes porters, horsemen, or mules.
5. Medical Conditions: Participants must declare if they have any sickness or medical disorders and must bring their own medicines.
6. Documentation: All participants must bring their original passport and, if available, their original student card “ISIC” for verification purposes.
7. Travel Insurance: It is compulsory for all clients to have personal travel insurance. This insurance must cover personal accidents, medical expenses, loss of effects, and all other expenses that may arise due to loss, damage, or injury occurring to the client. “Sunrise Peru Trek” cannot be held accountable for any accidents or loss of personal belongings caused by the client.
8. Force Majeure: In the event of force majeure circumstances, such as extreme weather conditions, landslides, strikes, or sudden inaccessibility of the route, “Sunrise Peru Trek” will propose viable solutions to operate the program within the available dates. If this is not possible, an alternative program will be proposed. If the alternative program chosen by the client is of lower value than the originally booked program, the client is entitled to a refund of the price difference. Please note that all costs derived from the force majeure situation will be at the expense of the client. In the event that none of the proposed alternatives are feasible, “Sunrise Peru Trek” will refund all the money paid, except for the incurred expenses so far.
