Day 1.- Arrival to Cusco:
The 5-day Inti Raymi Machu Picchu Tour begins in the city of Cusco. Arrival to Cusco is flexible, allowing travelers to arrive at any time. However, we kindly request that you provide us with your flight details to ensure a smooth reception. Upon your arrival, our dedicated staff will be waiting for you at the airport ready to transfer you to the designated hotel. For early arrivals, before noon, we offer an optional City Tour program that takes you on a captivating journey from 01:30 p.m. to 06:30 p.m. During this immersive tour, you will have the opportunity to explore the renowned Cathedral, the historic Qoricancha, and other awe-inspiring Inca Temples such as Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Tambomachay, and Pucapucara.
Day 2.- Inti Raymi Tour Full Day.-
Join us for an unforgettable experience on the Inti Raymi Tour! Starting at 08:30 a.m, we will pick you up from your hotel and embark on a short walk to the Inca Temple of Qoricancha. This is where the mesmerizing Inca festival of the SUN, known as Inti Raymi, will commence.
Prepare to be amazed as we witness three different scenes at three different locations. The first scene takes place at Qoricancha, just three blocks away from the Main Square. We will then move to the Main Square for the second scene. Please note that seating is not available at these locations, so we will be observing the feast standing up.
The climax of the Inti Raymi unfolds at Sacsayhuaman, located 3 km from Cusco. We will travel there comfortably by private bus. Take your designated seat and enjoy privileged views as we witness the special scene at Sacsayhuaman. Our VIP Zone provides the best vantage point for this stunning ceremony. For your convenience, EMUFEC offers hygienic mobile bathrooms, a first aid post, and police security to ensure your safety during this captivating event.
The Inti Raymi celebration at Sacsayhuaman starts at 01:30 p.m and concludes around 03:00 p.m. Afterward, we will return to Cusco and you will be transferred back to your hotel. INTI RAYMI SETTINGS FOR THE CEREMONY:
The “Inti Raymi” feast at 24th of June has three sceneries and we recommended go early to have the best locations at “Qoricancha” and the Main square.
1.- The “QORIKANCHA”.- It was the temple of then Sun of the Incas, which was covered with gold and silver in the time of the Incas. Here the ceremony begins at 9:00am; the duration time of the ceremony is 45 minutes.
2.- The “HAUHAYPATA” or the main square.- In the time of the Incas the main square was bigger than now and in the middle there was a beautiful “Usno”( ceremonial platform) where the Incas celebrated the important festivities like the Inti Raymi. Here the celebration begins at 11.00am and the duration time is one hour.
3.- SAQSAYWAMAN.- A very nice Inca temple located at 3 kms from the city of Cusco; here is the most important celebration of the Inti raymi, here the government prepared a numerated seats. “Sacsaywaman” is a “Quechua” name which translated into Spanish means “falcon, satiate”. Here the ceremony begins at 13:30pm and the duration time is 1:45 hours.

- Report the four Regions of the Inca Empire: Qollasuyu, Kuntisuyu, Antisuyu and Chinchaysuyu.
